Was just wondering if anyone has ever grown out Strain A (mexicana strain from sporeworks), and how the experience was.

Also was wondering , for the people who's grown out puerto ricans, what kind of substrate did you use, and how long/special care?/etc etc etc. any comments would be most appreciated.

Sporeworks, on the description of the puerto ricans stated that it performs well with a millet substrate, thats why ive been posting a few questions about birdseed, the preparations and etc.

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Una and BIO have posted some results of mexicana A. Try a search in Pictures and Advanced forums. Puerto Ricans are known for overly aggressive mycelium that tends to overlay casings. Inducing them to fruit promptly is slightly harder for PR's than other cubes. Potency is reportedly high.

Workman I will be able to confirm or deny the potency issue on PR next weekend LOL... btw it is confirmed that PR will grow in a myco bag.
