* disclaimer chewing orbits gum will not get you into heaven
    #5777062 -

HAHAHAHA, they have a new comercial where snoop goes to hell for having a dirty mouth. then the orbits chic chick shows up with her gum and in the next scene he's in heaven.

on the bottom of the screen in small letters it says

*disclaimer, chewing orbit gum will not get you into heaven.*

What have we come to...

--------------------
PEACE

:mushroom2:zippoz:mushroom2:

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

"People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."

im just wondering if it was an actual disclaimer so that the religous crowd dosent get up in arms, or a marketing ploy so that people like me would talk about it.... could be both

When I saw it at first I thought it was just legal status so that no one would chew orbit gum and then die, then end up in Heaven, but if they died trying it and ended up in Hell, who would be there to sue? Just another stupid Orbit commercial IMO.

I've seen that. It's kinda funny.

The secret to being funny is to say smart things stupidly, or is it stupid things smartly? Whatever..it's not rocket surgery...or something like that.

Funny disclaimers are pretty common. I saw a car commercial where the car was emulating a skateboard. It showed the car going over a ramp and said "Warning: This is dangerous." It then showed the car grinding down a rail and said "Warning: This is very dangerous." Then, the car was going up a half-pipe and it said "Warning: This is very VERY dangerous."

Another one had a car drive off a stage at a concert, and the disclaimer was "Cars are for driving on roads, not people."
