hello everyone i was thinking about trying some "chew" not dip. I dip copenhagen straight and go through a can in 5-7 days. I am wanting to try chew and i was going to put big league chew bubble gum around it but i was wondering what chewing tobacco to get?

Pshaw, what ever, Copenhagen snuff is deliciously fine. It's a developed taste, like scotch. Cope straight is a terrible marketing strategy that destroys their image, buy the real snuff and be cooler than a Marlboro cowboy, I promise.
Really though, OP, you want whole-leaf? If so try out something in plug form, you bite chunks off a big brick, it's all that is cool for oral cancer enthusiast.

I've tried dip 2 times and thought it was gross. Not so much the taste which can be good on some flavors but just having that gritty shit in my mouth. The nicotine buzz was surprisingly strong though.

What the fuck does chew mean?
Whole leaf or plug? I guess you want to gnaw on it?
Levi Garret is my favorite, Apple Briar Plug is a brick I find tastey.

i guess if you like lip, tongue or esophegal cancer. not to mention disgustingly stained teeth and the breath of a donkeys ass after taco night.

Plug is a brick you bite a chunk off, leaf is loose chunks of leaf, whole leaf is a fucking sheet I can't fit into my mouth, it's big like a football..
Lefty, I've chewed tobacco since I was 14, never like a moron, I usually chew a can a week, I chew copenhagen and my teeth sparkle white, my gums are healthy and my dentist gives me nothing but praise. If you are close enough to me to smell it, back the fuck off, you would probably smell the dank on my breath first anyways. I've now chewed half my life and don't plan on stopping tomorrow either.

It's been far to long, I haven't bought any of that stuff since tobacco taxes went ape-shit. I only buy cope now.
Whole leaf is the most expensive I believe, bricks can be pricey also, there's all kinds of brand names I don't understand.
Pouches of redman and levi garret are usually cheap but I have no idea what they cost.

26, yeah I worry a bit about cancer, but you see my grandmother has smoked since 12 and she's 75 and doesn't have any health problems and her mother smoked two packs of none-filters a day until 88 and was fine until she was hit by a car on her way to the smoke shop in down town Des Moines.
I know a lot of life-time users, you don't use the same spot in your mouth all the time and you rinse when you are done and brush your damn teeth. Some brands are worse than others, I've seen chewers toothless and heard of them get cancer, so yes it's a concern but I'm not loosing sleep over it, I keep an eye on it and don't use it constantly or sleep with the shit in like a lot of folks .... I don't know what to tell you, I've quit for 6 months a few times in my life and this habit always comes back since I enjoy the shit out of it and it keeps me occupied doing stupid tasks. Lame I know, what can I say?

ehh, not everyone can quit easily. i smoked from 12-20. i quit because the thoughts of what it was doing to my body made me physically sick whenever i smoked anymore, i even forced myself to smoke for a few months after this started. i finally just stopped. wish i never would have started. sports probably would have been ALOT easier had i. ive never felt better than i do now. the hardest part was filling my time that i normally filled smoking.
