lemon juice?

i looked for the thread there used to be on this but couldnt find it..

does it actually make your trip noticeably stronger? do i just drink like a cup of it? would anything citrus work? educate me.

I believe it is the acetic value of the lemon juice that helps extract the psilocybin faster into your system.

It just comes on faster thus making you get far into it in little time.

No lemon-like juice is an maoi.
It only effects the way you digest the psi.

Some people think its some new idea, but im sure it has been used for hundreds if not thousands of years.

It comes on faster, thats it.

The effects come on faster and more at once increasing your trip. You could compare it to smoking something rather than ingesting it. Yesterday i took 3.3 grams of mushroom powder and combined it with lemon juice and i had the most intense trip of my life.

From what I understand it works like this. Normally when you eat shrooms they go into your stomache, some of your stomache acids kill some psilocybin. When you use the lemon juice it extracts the psilocybin from the shroom material into the juice. When you drink the lemon juice the psilocybin gets into your system from your mouth/throat more, so less of the psilocybin is being wasted. That is why it comes on faster too, because its being absorbed into your blood faster, and it dosn't have to sit in your stomache for awhile.

that makes perfect sense really its amazing what your stomach does if you think about it. For example DMT can only be ingested with an MAOI for effects to take place.

brilliant.  had to resurrect this one because it's an excellent idea. soaking the dried material in acidic water under gentle heat converts psilocybin to psilocin (more potent w/w), via acid-catalyzed dephosphorylation. :thumbup:
