Outdoor culty interests,but what about ants/slugs?

Just wanted to know if your guys know anybody that might do anything to prevent pests. I really think its gonna be hard to get ants away from the very strong scent of the cased substrate. What would be a good way to barraced pests? Slugs seem to be less of a problem. I'm worried about what ants are gonna do...

Moth balls keep rabbits and deer from eating reefer plants.
They also keep snakes out of the yard. Just an idea:peace:

I think you will find slugs a big problem. Try slug bait,
