sclerotia?

i have heard of these things called sclerotia, and i have seen a few pics, but i dont kno really what it is or how to cultivate it or any good links. I really need some input. thanx

Hi,
I'm surprised sclerotia isn't more popular? They're easier to grow then mushrooms and just as good.

Sclerotia is basically a mushroom that is just one being concentrated growth. Concentrated as in a knot in a piece of pine wood.

For info on them, look here - http://www.shroomery.org/findorgrowthem/Myco.HTM and scroll about 3/4 of the way down the page. You'll see tons of links under the "Mexicana & Tampanensis" section.

As for a girl friend, I can ask around but I can't make any promises:)
