The horse I used to own seemed to enjoy pitting herself against other horses on a run. She'd lay her ears back and go for it without encouragement.

I've always wondered "what if they don't want to run?" What if that day they just don't feel like it? Or when they were used to plow the fields...what if they didn't want to work that day?

Frankly, I was never a fan of Superman. What can Superman inspire really? Nothing but wonder, fascination.

But think about Batman. the ultimate superhero. The root of Batman is Revenge, we know that, but he does something productive with his desire for revenge. He crusades against injustice, and he does it relying on no magical superpowers, only his own mental and physical prowess and his ability to use the tools around him.

Though, it did help that Bruce Wayne was rich as fuck.
