Do they think they want to win?
Do they know their owners will get richer
and buy them new
Louis Vuitton feedbags?
Hmm?

The horse I used to own seemed to enjoy pitting herself against other horses on a run. She'd lay her ears back and go for it without encouragement.

I've always wondered "what if they don't want to run?" What if that day they just don't feel like it? Or when they were used to plow the fields...what if they didn't want to work that day?

You hear about these horisng "accidents." Mysterious ones.
"Why, everything was just fine, and then Bessie just reared up on her hind legs as if something had scared her, and lurched forward, launching Mr. Reeves forward and breaking his neck in two."
We all know what really happened.
HE FREAKED
OUT!!
That fucking horse couldn't take it anymore. But why...why SUPERMAN?!!!

Frankly, I was never a fan of Superman. What can Superman inspire really? Nothing but wonder, fascination.
But think about Batman. the ultimate superhero. The root of Batman is Revenge, we know that, but he does something productive with his desire for revenge. He crusades against injustice, and he does it relying on no magical superpowers, only his own mental and physical prowess and his ability to use the tools around him.
Though, it did help that Bruce Wayne was rich as fuck.
But what a message. You got yourself a fortune, what are you gonna do with it? I'm going to dress up like a bat and fight injustice. Fuck yeah!

OH my gosh, Kevin says the exact same thing about Batman vs. Superman, haha.
I like him better too...although I was more fascinated by the Joker, who I found deliciously creepy. But that's because the villians hold a special interest for me.

I know that some thorough breeds simply like to run faster then other horses. It's like the hundreds of mating rituals that occur within the animal kingdom in which one male has to impress the female through some simple act. It just comes natural to them. Plus I'm pretty sure trainers give the horses an apple or some rare treat only when they win a race, so the horse figures it has to run fast or else no apple.

Batman will always feel more real than Superman. I wish I had Batman on DVD, I would watch it right now. The old Michael Keaton one.
Jack Nicholson was a fucking inspiration as the Joker.

I've only recently, i.e. the last five years or so, developed a real love for baseball. Now I'm unhealthily obsessed.
But when I was little, and collected cards, i didn't really care at all. I still have a bunch of them though, I recently broke them out to see if they would be worth anything to sell so I could have a little money on the side. I still have em sitting right here.
