I fucking hate cingular, so I'm switching to sprint. Are they any good?

well i had a ton of problems with em they bill a month ahead and that made it go over my spending limit. when i first got my phone somehow someone made a 5 dollar payment on my plan with a bad check and they shut off my phone for like 2 weeks. i yelled and yelled at them and finally i faxed a nasty letter about how i dont even have a fucking bank account to write a bad check with and it was turned back on. i still got charged for a full month too even though my phone was only on for half of the time

yeah i switched to verizon prepaid its so much better no freakin bill and i got freenights which aint bad i end up spending like 90 bucks a month which is only like 5 bucks cheaper than my sprint account

Sprint absolutely rules.

I just signed a new plan. Here's what I got for $39.99

400 anytime min.
Unlimited nights and weekends beginning at 7.
The rep. said roaming was included. Thus, I should be able to use everyone else's towers for free (can't get better ceoverage than that).

Since I'm along term customer I got %15 off my bill too. Thus, it brings all that to like $34. Can't beat it.

I've been with Cingular for about 9 years.  They rock the socks off all other companies IMO.  I get great service and I also get coverage when everyone else I am around drops out.  I've had work phones through several other companies over the years and I am always having to use my personal phone to call the boss because it works long after my work phones have dropped out.  I'm a firm believer that Cingular drops fewer calls then anyone.  I am always the last person in a crowd to lose my service.

But then you'll hear someone else tell the same exact story about another company. :shrug:

where I live people only use sprint cause they are the only company who doesn't run an actual credit check... Sure they may take your SS#, but they don't check it....
