i just got a 60gb 5g ipod

and this itunes thing seems like it fucking sucks. i cant figure up how to just add one album to my player. is there a better program?? i miss my dell jukebox software?

In the upper right corner there is a Search box, you can use it to filter yur collection. Simply type the name of the album and that's what will be displayed, then you highlight all of those and click and drag them to your iPod.

Or you can click the big circular browse button in the upper right corner and that will separate the window in two, allowing you to search by artist or album.

It's really the best, most intuitive music organization program there is available.

Ipod and Itunes both suck badly. You should take back that Ipod and get a refund if you can. You can buy a better 60GB player and have money left over. Ipod is possibly the worst mp3 player on the market, for the money. I got a 1GB mini a few months ago. It's a really pretty machine, but all that nice packaging doesn't reflect functionality.

Creative makes much better players, as per my own experience. My next player's going to be an iAudio M5. You can get it for like $215, and it plays mp3, wma, ogg, wav, flac, and I don't think it requires any bullshit software; just drag-and-drop, as simple as you want it.

Fuck Ipods. I got a 20gb Zen for the price of a 1gb Ipod. Windows Media is so easy, I think I will go put more songs on my Zen, then go smoke a bowl cause I saved so much money. HHHAHAHAHAHA

i actually spoke too soon. the browse feature on itunes is very similar to the software im used to. i like the video feature too

Or you can just throw everything you want into a playlist, and add the whole playlist at once. Makes it so you are sure you don't double up, especially if you've been smoking the money saving bowls.
