I went over to take part in his mount elphinstone forest/nature walk that happens on the first sunday of the month, and got a little more than I bargained for. Who would've thought that I'd spend the next 3 hours of my life desperately trying to escape the mad grasps of a blood rice flour and verm experiment... His cape got caught on some barbed wire when I hopped a fence though, so I made it out alive, but just barely =\
On the other hand, I had a really good time out on Elphie... Not really the right season for mushrooms yet, but a really nice walk nonetheless. Plus I got to pick up a few syringes that I won in a contest (how many other vendors will hand deliver spores?), and chat it up with Max for a while. Fun times. I strongly recommend the voyage for other shroomerites in the Vancouver region. Hope to see you at the next one in April =)
