You need to bear in mind, when stamets talks about temperatures, he's talking about substrate temperatures, not air. Also note he's changed 'incubate in total darkness' to 'Light: none required'. RR

In my opinion, mycelium running is the least of the bunch. I'm disappointed. It's also not a cultivation book, so don't get it as your first one, expecting cultivation info. TMC and GGMC are still the best for growth parameters and contaminant ID. RR

Ditto it's simply a nice addition/reference IMHO.

so what if ur readin a book on cultivation. if anyone says anything dont say a word and just look at them all crazy like until they go away, or u could just say "fuck off" and go back to reading. although im not exactly non-chalant in public either. if i get asked what im gettin sumthin for i have a tendency to tell the truth and say "mushrooms." of course that will be the last word out of my mouth on the subject just cuz i like to mess with people.

I have had "The mushroom cultivator" for years and yrs now and I never did get anything useful from it cause I didn't understand any of it.Now that I know what I'm doing I can look back and read it and now I know what he is talking about....I think that book should be standard bathroom reading material for any serious cultivator,as far as letting people see you reading it it my case it doesn't really matter because I have been reading and studying up on mushrooms for so long no one would think its out of the ordinary but I still tend to not leave it laying around when company is coming over
