I was thinking of making a green house and selling some of the plants on ebay or to stores. I was wondering what plants do you all think would be best to grow also I need some directions on how to build a nice green house because I'm not rich but I like growing plants. You can buy like 1000 seeds for 20 dollars then sell the plants for 20 dollars a piece or more. Sounds like a good deal to me. Also was thinking of breeding some animals, insect or fish. Right now thinking of breeding coy,a special kind of toad and maybe praying mantis. Help me out cause I need some help.
thank you

seedlings and cuttings of ethnobotanicals would be popular in the Marketplace on Shroomery.

if you plan on selling coy you should first learn how to spell it........
and you got to think about how much it costs to heat a green house...

I would actually be more worried about keeping it cooler. B/c In the summer months they get fucking hot inside there. During the winter they stay relatively warm.

true, depends also on what climate you live in, how much you wanna spend in the construction, and how you wanna heat it.
Oil has been the standard way, but know with oil prices on the up n up you will spend at least a thousand dollars over a winter, well up here any way.
Also helps to build into the earth below frost line.

cooling isnt a real issue either, but all these things will take planning and the proper tools and materials, heating does become an issue in some areas of the country, if it gets below 0 plants can still be damaged.

at the farms i have worked at over the past, we would eather have electronic arms that sense the heat and open windows turn on fans by the use of sensors, other times when using the plastic/ hoop houses we would roll up the bottom third of the walls to let in a nice cross breeze.

if you do a little research into underfloor heating systems you'll find an alternate method, a 15gal water heater and tubing under a concrete slab are quite effective and pretty economical, it was used long before oil/LP heaters came into vogue

Yeah that has been in my mind for a while.....
goes along the rout of geothermal heating almost.
My friends built a pole barn on a concrete pad a few years ago. We installed ducting under the concrete to be used with a large outdoors wood burner, eventually the burner will be used for radiant heat for the house and the barn.

concrete is great because it retains a lot of heat and give is off later, it conducts better than dirt and sand but they can also be used
