moment of rapture

#5684154 - 05/28/06 06:12 PM (20 years, 4 months ago)

will you lay down your arms
and spread
your hair upon the pillow
your fingers open
clutching to grasp at mine
your knees across the east & west

will you unlock your roadster
for me to enter inside the door
and feel myself burning down the street
hands gentle and smug to steer you
purchasing power thru your gears

i enter the music now, the drumming
with my guitar sound, pulling your strings
until you enter into my thoughts
and hear what i'm trying to tell you
this ancient song with new words
shining to spread it all around
spinning down the vortex
permanently opened for adventure
my eyes, reflected in your eyes
am i seeing myself inside there?
who's who in this moment of rapture
are you in me too, am i outside beyond myself
who were we before we were us?

like the metaphor....

--------------------
"And we, inhabitants of the great coral of the Cosmos, believe the atom (which still we cannot see) to be full matter, whereas, it too, like everything else, is but an embroidery of voids in the Void, and we give the name of being, dense and even eternal, to that dance of inconsistencies, that infinite extension that is identified with absolute Nothingness and that spins from its own non-being the illusion of everything."
