Does anyone remember that book by Enid Blyton, the one about those crazy brownies? I just remembered about it yesterday, I had a golden moment of nostalgia. I so need to get my hands on that story, it's brilliant!!!!   :mushroom2:

Well, if it is a book, you would most likely find it on Ebay for sure....

Never heard of that book, but you mentioning it made me think of a few other books from my childhood days....:  Curious George, and Marmaduke....     There was another story that I can't remember the name of....  It was about a guy who could hold the ocean in his mouth, and his brother would go out and collect fish all flapping around on the bottom of the empty ocean floor....  But one day the (collecting) brother got greedy, and stayed out too long collecting fish, and the first brother could no longer hold the water....  And the other brother drown when he had to release all of the water....    :frown:

The "Choose your own adventure" books were always my fav....   Literature technology at it's best....!

Ahhhhh  .....the good ol'e care free days of childhood....  Really puts into perspective always having heard people say "Enjoy it while you can" when I was younger....    Time is a bitch, and seems to be speeding up....  :frown:    And now I find myself saying those very same words to other's young ones....

Thanx~ for hitting my nostalgic nerve with this thread....
