Why do NBA players who don afros always braid them during the playoffs? I noticed Ben Wallace and Shaun Livingston does this

I have never seen livingston with a fro he always has them rolled up... and I thought big ben rolled his up on away games

Haha. I always assumed it was because they don't trust their opponents during the playoffs. Alot of tempers fly and shit
