Fastest colonizing substrate?

Was just wondering which is the fastest colonizing substrate good for a semi-newbie to use? Thanks in advance for ur advice!

A good one to use involves finch seed and BRF and vermiculite. Mix 2 cups of finch seed in a bowl with half cup of BRF and 1 cup of vermiculite. Add enough water until it can be squeezed with just a few drops of water coming out and put in pint jars and pressure cook for 1 hour. let cool and innoculate. :smile:

str8 finch seed and a polyfill lid werked good for me, crazy growth!

PS, use only if you have a pressure cooker to sterilize:)
