I would rape the president if I were in the same jail, not because I am gay, just to say that I did it.

which means that 86% want dick cheney to be POTUS...i strongly agree that bush has comitted impeachable offenses..but removing him from office so that cheney can take his place is hardly a wise move...

Name two, and give your reasons why each satisfies the criteria for an impeacment.

Do I think Bush has done anything that would warrant a legal impeachment? No.
Do I think he's a bad president and he has fucked up a lot? Yes.

Bush authorized leaking classified information. That's treason in my book.
Warrantless wiretaps, signing the USA PATRIOT Act.
hmm

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

Specifics, please. This is the first I've heard of it.

Warrantless wiretaps...
As has been pointed out in several threads dealing with the NSA program, there are over two dozen instances where searches (and the courts in their wisdom have decreed that intercepting electronic communications qualifies as a search) without warrants are perfectly legal.

Seeing as how Congress voted overwhelmingly for the Act, Bush had no choice but to sign it. It was veto-proof. You don't like the Act? Impeach the legislators who wrote it, introduced it, and voted for it.

It's kind of weird, recently, when I see an online poll about Bush, there is about 80-90% of people who are against him. It makes me wonder why that number is so high, considering that approx. 36% of people approve of the job he's doing. Perhaps people who use the Internet are more likely to be against Bush, vs. a national poll?

Or perhaps it's due to the freaking outrageous lying they do when framing the question.
See my post here -- http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5525794#Post5525794
Then of course there's the fact that online polls are worth exactly squat. From MSNBC's own link at the poll http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3704453/ --
Quote:
One week in the middle of the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, more than 200,000 people took part in an MSNBC Live Vote that asked whether President Clinton should leave office. Seventy-three percent said yes. That same week, an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll found that only 34 percent of about 2,000 people who were surveyed thought so.
To explain the vast gap in the numbers in this and other similar cases, it is necessary to look at the difference in the two kinds of surveys. (they then go on to explain the differences -- Phred)
Real pollsters understand the importance of how questions are phrased. So do the smear artists at MSNBC; they knew exactly what they were doing with that steaming pile of crap.

lol, I just replied to your response in that thread. I do agree with you, although I mentioned that "political lynching" isn't too neutral either. Like I said in the other thread, polls which place too many words in people's mouths aren't too reliable.
