Rust container is ok right???

Sorry if this has already been answered, I did a search for "rust" but it turned up a bunch of stuff, even the busted post. Anyways, is it ok to case in a loafpan that has rusty spots on it from the previous casing?? I heard someone say rust wasn't a contaminant and therefore was completely harmless. Is this true?? Thanks everyone!!!

rust is just the metal oxidizing, it shouldnt hurt your casings.
