How big of a tub?

#5487875 - 04/06/06 08:56 PM (20 years, 6 months ago)

Hi everyone...

How big of a tub do I need for a 5lb horse poo mix with 2 quarts of WBS spawn?
Or do you guys think 10lb of poo in the tub is better? If so how big of a tub do I need to get approx 4 1/2" of substrate with casing.
I'm sorry for the newbie question..

Any input is appreciated... K+++

I use 68L (18 Gal) Sterilite tubs. 10 lbs. of poo with 4 quarts of spawn gives me between 5"-5 1/2" of substrate. Right at optimal. :thumbup:
