I fitlered the spent mimosa hostilis bark and syrian rue from an ayahuasca brew and used as a bulk substrate half and half with straw and african worm shit. All went very well. Mushrooms were dried out in dry ice chamber to prevent oxidation of psilocin which is in elevated levels from the aya herbs. End result is mushrooms that are tall and skinny and turn completely black on picking. roughly 2x as strong as my mushes that are spawned onto straw and worm shit alone. :smile:
PS dry ice chambers are not difficult to make and neither is dry ice.

Sorry I'm so slow. Ok dry ice drying chamber.
On takes a tupperware container say 1 square foot and say 3 inches deep approx. Make a chicken wire platform inside and attach an air vent onto the lid. By air vent I mean like the ones you buy in a wine making store for the top on the car boy. And thats it. The dry ice goes beneath the chicken wire and the mushrooms go on top. seems to work fine for me. Might need to reload the dry ice a few times.

making your own dry ice you need a dry ice maker. Its a metal cone that screws onto a co2 tank they are 90 dollars and the tank is about 50 but you get a refund. you spray the co2 out of the tank and ice forms all over the cone whick has a collection bag around it. You chip off the ice and the bag catches it.
