Mycobag ? Mycelium?

I recieved my spores and mycobag a few weeks ago and I injected them into the bag. The first couple days the bag was in cold weather as I went out of town and when I got back I've kept it in my closet where it's warm. So I check a few weeks later which led to tonight and I can tell the bag has been getting heat due to some condensation and im looking through the bag and I see white stuff on the grain, like popcorn like white clusters through out the bag but not on all of the grain. Is this bag any where near successful?

Well, the white is a good sign, what percentage of the grain would you say has been colonized?
What's the temp in your closet?

My closet is about 74-77 F . It;s not like a percentage of grain that is colonized just like everyday I check it I start to see popcorn like white clusters, should the bag be mixed up? Aksi should I do anything else to the bag?

74-77 is ideal for mycobags. Also, the fact that you see more each day is a good sign.
I would mix the bag a little after you've got 20-25% colonization, kneed it around so it's distributed throughout. It will seem to dissappear, but will grow back.
If you don't mix, you take a chance on the bag stalling out. This is more a problem with jars since a mostly colonized jar is pretty much impossible to shake up. With a bag, you can always break it up no matter what... but mixing it up early on will get it colonized a lot faster.

Ok now since the last post ive shaken up the bag and now more mycelium is growing. Is this really good? About how much longer till fruiting. The bag is not completely colonized but everyday more white is popping up. By any chance does anyone know how man GRAMS a mycobag usually produces. Ecuador

Hahahahaha, there isn't a magic equation unfortunately. If you keep dinking with your bag though it will contam and your yield will be zero. Put it away for awhile I know it is hard to resist playing with it because it really is pretty cool to watch, but you still have awhile to wait before it is completely finished. Shake it every 2 or 3 days if you want, anymore than that is bad news.

Hey everyone, now my question is when exactly should I fruit, within the last 2 days the mycelium is starting to take over the bag , I just want to be sure I don't fruit to early or late. Advice needed. Thanks

You fruit about 2 days after it is COMPLETELY colonized.

As of today the bag still somewhat looks the same but when I feel the bag it's starting to get alot harder. Is this OK? Also colonization is pretty much throughout the bag yet I still see grain. Is there anything I should do, wait it out? Or something to speed up the process.

Doesn't look fully colonized to me. Leave it alone for a few days!

Ok, my bag as of today has way more mycelium with root hairs growing than how it looked in the previous pictures. The bag feels kind of hard like a brick. Is this good? And it's all colonized except like on the sides, the tiny pieces of grain shows . I am new to this and im wondering what should I do as far as fruiting. Is my bag ready now?
