Just showered... Today was spent inhaling smoke and reflecting on last night. Reflecting on the movie. That was one of the best trips i've had in a while, the movie theather was heavy with mood and the film itself was simply amazing i couldn't have imagined seeing it in any other perfect setting. I needs me the soundtrack. Echoes will have to do for now.

Quite good! Though nothing fancy.

I just stayed in and watched a few movies, talked to my gf about the idea of "new thoughts" and if they are possible, and hung out on the boards, of course :smirk:

Probably the best part was near the end of the trip just before I went to bed. I decided to put on two different flicks at the same time, so I would have more to pay attention to. So I put 2001 on, in a vain mockery of what you guys must have experienced, on my computer. Then I put on an episode of the "Connections" series, by James Burke.

Connections is about technological progress and change, and how it affects the human condition. It's done from a "technology is good" perspective, so I thought it would be interesting to have that playing juxtaposed against the techno-fear of 2001.

Was interesting to hear Burke praising the steam engine while at the same moment HAL was killing off the crew members on his ship. Wild!

TripMeister, i dont have the means to get all that, lol. i wish i lived in LA or NYC so i could get some real drugs...

i would have tripped a lot more by now but i just cant find good stuff around here and ive got no where to grow. lately ive been getting shrooms consistently, but when these run out, i'll be SOL all over again.

Well that sounds like a pleasant evening as well, Trendal. Even though i don't know you that well it meant a lot to come back from the movie to find that OMR and I had inspired someone to take some as well. 2001 has completely permeated me.

I want to watch it while listening to Echoes this weekend.

which will make your trips all the more special, but come on, you live in fucking GA, and it's SPRING, go find a cow field, drive to the country if you have to, after some heavy rains, stock up :thumbup:.


don't weilii grow in GA? find some freshly laid sod, or whatever else they grow on, do some reaserch mang.

the problem with cow fields is that
1) i have no idea how to pick shrooms, so id probly eat something that killed me.
2) most cow fields are owned by rednecks with shotguns.  and they dont hesitate to shoot because if its your land in GA, you can shoot whoever you want.

as far as learning how and doing research, i'd love to.  but work and school take up all my time.  maybe in a few years when ive got a degree and a cushy job and plenty of extra time, but until then im at the mercy of the dealers.

but thanks for the advice man, the more i learn about psychedelics the more i want to know.

Man, I grew up in Alabama. I know all about the rednecks. They don't usually bother you, unless you are in plain sight, or fucking with their cattle. Like GDman said, do some research. Learn what the cubes look like. They grow out of shit, so that is one bullseye to look for. It's hard to miss cowshit.:smirk: Peruse the site. Look for pics. IT'S EASY TO FIND CUBES IN FIELDS!!!
