At the NIN show I went to a few weeks ago they played some video during a few songs.
A few of the scenes were of humans fighting eachother, and then right after that they showed a scene of two monkeys fighting eachother. No difference.

God damn it, that's why I'm saying, who cares if people were laughing?
I was laughing because it was ridiculous! You watch those monkeys and you know it's still all the same shit.

What a fucking film. God damn it. That made me feel raw and alive. Ripped apart and put back together. My brain is on fire.

Before the film even started they played the freaky monolith music, the crazy humming roaring HIGH VOLTAGE sound of the universe that just vibrates you, they had the lights down and they just played that part of the score. That was my come-up on acid. Then the film itself started and my trip immediately kicked into high gear - I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath throughout the whole film.

I'm trying to picture that in my mind right now - that crazy electric hum filling a darkened theater. Wild.

And the theater is the size of a half a ballroom.
edit: NO! An ENTIRE ballroom!

That's exactly what I have pictured
And that reverberating hum. The monolith.

And then we sat out the credits, and after that the music continued for a bit and we sat there along with this other guy clearly tripping his mind out. And when it finally ended and we left we walked out into the nighttime and it was all monoliths. Everywhere. All the buildings, the cell phone ads, all these sleek monoliths. It was crazy.
And Trump Tower. /shudder

here's my thought: there's no such thing as a "new" thought, just new ways of thinking about old thoughts.

2001 is the only film I have ever managed to watch all the way through while tripping.
I will forever have that close-up of the eye burnt into my mind - that's one hungry eye, thirsting for information, for stimulous.
Fucking outstanding film!

damn sounds like a good time had by one and all! the only movie i've ever sat through (and paid attention to) on lsd was true stories by david byrne. strange, because the movie is so slow and quite uneventful, but somehow it held my attention much more than all the times i've tried to watch 'trippy' movies (anime, joseph campbell movies, live gd concerts, etc) on lucy.
my acid stash ran dry the other weekend, when it was unseasonably warm, and a hike in the local nature center whilst on my last hit and a half (the same white unperf'ed as you've got) seemed like (and was!) a grand idea. thankfully one of my roomates is planning on picking up a vial in the next few weeks - so it seems like my spring will be glowing indeed
oh, and plur - that ghb was technically a group effort by meats, robot, and i. we were planning to sodomoize your body, and then sell the remains on the dirty streets of nyc - but your tolerance to that shit is just absurd!

Ugh I'm ashamed of myself for not getting to work on time the day after dropping acid. I shoulda had it more together than that, but instead I fell asleep clutching my phone as I was preparing to set an alarm on it, curled up in the fetal position on the couch listening to music.
Last night was amazing.
