not a bad price, but way too small, and an ionizer is a bad idea..

What in the world are you talking about. Depends totally what you want to do with this filter.
if hes building a laminar flowhood, it will do nicely. dont diss his system. i use one thats a bit bigger than that, and it works great in my flowhood
the rooms air is great too.
