just wanted to try a new kava and thought id see what you gusy found to be the best and economical(most are the same price though) thanks

I got mine from Ceilo Herbs (Fijian in capsules), but you can get root from them too.

I usually like the Fijian strains, they are pretty euphoric. The by far most potent kava I've tried is Isa from Papua-New Guinea, it's absolutely wicked... but that's not to say it's the most pleasant, it tends to be quite nauseating at times. I often go back to the Hawaiian strains as well, Hiwa for example.

Kava is like weed, variety is key.

find kava from the island of kadavu in fiji. its where i was, and everyone comes there to buy kava and they all say its the best in the world. both me and my girlfriend can agree with that statement too. its very euphoric, very pleasant, some nausea but its easy to get used to. quite psychedelic in higher amounts. i wouldnt suggest eating the powder, but if you get root (the best form) and have the ability to crush it up (it will kill your coffee grinder), and you know how to brew it (remember cold water only), then it should all make for a pleasant evening  :grin:

I've found that warm (not hot) tap water works better than cold. Warm (120-140 deg F) water doesn't seem to degrade the kavalactones, but does aid in the extraction. For the record, I like Vanuatu Kava best. My two cents.
