I tell ya, this stuff coul dbe useful if you ahve a toothach or soar throat or something :lol:... I'll let you know how it goes.

Cool, is this iamshaman's? What dosage are you taking?

Here is my bad experience w/kava. I only got pleasant effects from Kava once, it was from 5x root powder. The next time I doubled it. Massive overdose from what I gather. I was found the next morning looking pretty rough while the walls shifted like I was on a boat. I was pretty sick for about a week and ended up in the doctor's office when it was all said and done. All I remember is that nasty taste lingering in my throat for days, now kava in any form makes me gag.

it does have an odd taste, my mouth, teeth aand throat are totally numb too

I got mine from Pure Land Ethnobotanicals. It was a bad transaction overall and I won't use them again. It took around 3 months for my order to be shipped and I'm quite sure part of my order was completely bunk.

hehe I didn't mean to scare you :wink: , I know you'll be fine. I should try iamshaman's kava since everything else from there has been good that I've tried. They sent me some free 5x kava extract a while back but I gave it away. I await your report to decide :laugh: I'm giving the Blue Lotus absolute oil a try next time I order.

I'm liking it, it has kind of a subtle, very smile inducing buzz, relaxing and happy... kind of familer... though I think i might have underdosed a little bit, I don't want to boost it yet, jsut in case... but this is nice

I tried some kava root last night. It was decent, I just took a little bit and soaked it in water and drank the water. I wasn't sure if I would get an effect or not but there was a definate effect. It kind of tastes bad but not that bad. It had a peppery taste. The buzz was mellow, not at all like mj but not bad. I'll try it again for sure.
