fungicide!

ok, i made ome shakable bags with rye chips, brown rice flour, and sphagmum (sp?) moss, which i bought at a nursury. it's been like, a week, and no signs of growth for either contaminants, OR my little B+ babies.

the moss came in large ziplock-esque baggies, with just a sticker on the side saying what they are. i think the nursury just broke up gigantic bags of it to sell on their own.

is it likely that this moss had some sort of fungicide on it, and that's why i'm not getting any growth? i'll feel like SUCH an ass if it does, but there's really no way to tell by looking on the packaging.
