When is an account abandoned? We have people who posted a few dozen times lose their interest in psychedelics, then return after a few years and become very active members. also historically it would be wrong if a newbie by mistake took on the name of an oldtime poster. It makes tha archives fuzzy.

I've said this too many times, noone answers and the library still doesn't work. Torrent is the best way to distribute, I can't use that soulseek bullshit.

Sounds like a good idea but there are some problems... first, tracker. We would need one and I still don't know how to create it.

Second, there's a reason I don't have the library working all the time. Do you know how much space and bandwithd it takes to host all those files? A lot, let me tell you. Not only that, but also it took Learyfan and me months to get all those files and oranize them in a fashion that would be usable by everyone.

Third, I was tired of giving up all my bandwithd and gettin' nothing in exchange. The lirary was open for what, 9 months or more? During all that time I couldn't even see my email whithout waiting for it to load for several minutes since all y upload was given to the library. I mean, I like to give to the community, but that's one thing an another is being stupid

So anyway, this doesn't mean I'm not opening it again at all, I'll probbaly open it very soon, but let me think about the best way to do it for everyone. I'll even make a poll to see what you guys prefer

Until then (a few days) be patient please

i think i'd notice that our vbulletin-based board
is superior to that of the shroomery or the nook.

1. we have the image browser to pull out all pix
in any thread or even entire forums, all of a members' posts.
no one else has that.

2. when you mouse-over a thread here
you can read the first couple sentences to see what's inside.
you can't do that at all at shroomery and all you get at the nook
is thread start date, etc. info already plainly displayed.

3. we can merge related small threads into one comprehensive
thread on a topic, taking say 4-5 threads on the treasure coast strain
each only a few posts long and combine them into one.
no one else does that.

4. we have no maximum daily limit for picture uploads like shroomery.
no one has to pay to upload more pix, we welcome the pix.

i'm sure i could think of a few more advantages if i tried...

5. our search engine is better integrated, we can search like the others
but we can also narrow our search to within individual threads.

6. we still have the discus board archives with it's nested threads
and we also have the vaults here, the largest organized data bank
of the 3 shroom boards by far. the others have a little, but ours are
larger, and much more extensive on nearly any topic.

i'll give shroomery a point tho'-
i like that you can choose 'all'
and get even a large thread displayed on 1 page
