Hi folks, 1st post here and need of sound advice from those in the know.

I just bought myself some Peruvian Torch Cactus, dried and in a bag........any pro's and cons that I should perhaps know about? I use weed regularly and and have had great fun on mushrooms but this stuff I am not so sure about.

LOL Not quite. The guy sold me the equivelant of three full doses. Its dried and in a resealable bag, looks like tree bark.I'm kinda nervy about taking the stuff as the Mrs has backed out........(lightweight).

I have some experience with the PV cactus, and have ingested the dried outer flesh by powdering in a coffee grinder, and stuffing into about 25 large gelatin caps. Both times I took these caps, I popped them casually over the course of an hour while cleaning and preparing my space. Takes another hour or so after ingestion to feel the effects, and comes on nice and slowly, especially when compared to the come up of cubensis. It is also noteworthy to mention that there was almost no nausea or stomach discomfort with this method, although you will prolly be very aware of the large gelatinous mass in your stomach.

I have it in a whisky tumbler and am drinking it as a mixer.....its about one shot of PV topped up with Lucozade.....does that sound careful to you?!

My friends and I have boiled cactus in the proper way, i.e the MJShroomer way, and it really is the worst tasting thing I have ever had. But the trip is good.
