Mushroom Hunting in Nova Scotia...

Before you dismiss this post and get mad at me and say "Read the rules" that i shouldnt post about mushroom seasons, this is a little differnt.. On here it says that Liberty Caps grow from like August to November/December. I also read that they like temperatures of less then 15*C in day, and less then 10*C at night. And right now in Nova Scotia, the climate is about to hit those temperatures, but it is spring, not fall. So im wondering if they could grow in the spring if the climate is right, or is there a specific reason why they are only said to grow in the fall? Thank you for any help.

They incubate over the summer and fruit in the fall.

liberty caps start growing in late september usually peaking in mid october and sometimes going well into november.
