I was just looking at some Gymnopilus lueteofolius,
they grow in woodchips outside the libarary.

They are very pretty, colorful caps.
-and not all of the caps, but some of them have the color blue.

There are also other simalar species, but they are fakes.
Be real careful with what you eat when it comes to gyms.

I do believe you may have Gymnopilus spectabilis in that photo.

Keep on shroomin,

Cool, you have discovered the same new one I did this year..they are gyms...never got a positive id on which species...but Gyms nonetheless, and they are psychoactive...but you need a lot...great tryptamine trip though.

Here are a couple of my pics

Cheers...where did you find them?

I also agree that these are Gymnopilus luteofolius. I know of a spot here in WA state that they can be found in. It's a mixed pile of Doug fir chips, hay and dirt. A mound of leftovers from a well-kept nature trail. I have never picked these mushrooms, but just touching them left orangish-colored powder on my fingers. There is a definite purple tint in the cap and towards the lower stem.
They don't look like much good eatin' though.
Stay cool!-Levi7.
