I am going to start up some jars here for the Experiment.
The components i am going to use are Karo, Beer, Vanilla Extract(not imitation) and Nutritional Yeast to see if some how i could get an LC that is clear like Karo is . do not want a cloudy LC, but would like to see the LC grow faster then Karo LC.
I think any thing i put nutritional yeast in will be cloudy but am going to try anyhow. as i have found in the past somethings are clear before PC but afterward become cloudy. at this point i think the beer , Karo and Vanilla will have the highest clarity. going to make LC with all ingredients listed by them selves and in combinations
the control jar will be 4% Karo water,
Will Post Pics when i get cam

Trick is NOT to caramelize sugars in the solution.

If you start with a clear solution. And don't caramelize the sugars in it. You end up with a clear solution.
PC time, temp & pressure is the key.
However, once you use below or near bottom limit PC times. You begin flirting with contaminates surviving the process.
I would rather have some canalization - than contamination.

It works but not very well since there are so few nutrients. I have grown in straight glucose and recently use a little apple juice.
