Overcrowded casing with mycelium
    #535622 - 01/30/02 03:50 AM (21 years, 10 months ago)

I have standing several casings of MAZATAPEC, since the maza is growing with casing layer it has began completely overcrowding the casing surface. After I started scraping the mycelium off the casing little mushroom pins appeared underneath. CAn someone please tell me what's up with this strain.
I also have Golden Teacher growing on a casing, are they supposed to grow as big as the ecuador strain? Or do I have an old strain because the shrooms are like only 5 inch at max. height.
They all are grown on rye, cased with peat/verm mix with lime added on sight.

I also have some casings on witch mycelium is equally covering the whole casinglayer with a thin mycelium coverage. While normal casings only had a few spots of mycelium fromwhere the shrooms begin to pin.
I will try and make pics soon to let y'all see what I mean.
Thanks for all the help, if i'll get any....
peace
shroom on
