Help with Texas

I'm growing some Texas strain, and it says once colonized, they should be exposed to little light since they are sensitive to it. What would those of you with experience growing Texans recommend for the lighting conditions after colonization?

lighting conditions stay the same, texas strain is no more sensitive to light then any other strain.

Really?  I hear that other strains take 8 hours of light a day.  Are Texas cubes really more sensitive?
