Me and my friend got together and put this together today. It was great fun doing it. Most of its live..so theres some screw ups.. but i think we got that over all middle eastern feel. Hope you guys enjoy! also happy to hear what everyone thinks of it.

I like the song as well. Only one thing, and of course this is just my opinion, but I don't get the feeling of it being middle eastern at the beginning. The instrument used at the beginning sounds more like something I'd hear off the Godfather soundtrack. As the song progresses however, I think it for sure sounds middle eastern.
To me this song is middle eastern, a little bit faster tempo of course, but the notes make it.

I wish I knew where to begin with this genre, I like the music, but I have no clue who or what to look for to get some good stuff

What genre do you mean specifically? World music using ethnic instruments or electronic music featuring ethnic instruments?
For world music check out Ravi Shankar, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, and Laszlo Hartobagyi.
For world ethnic electronic check out: Midival Punditz, Kaya Project, Banco de Gaia, Medicine Drum, etc....
