Sorry you are way too far away, the cuttings wouldn't do it...

It costs to me about 3 USD to send someone a cutting outside Europe. A small package needs about 2 weeks to reach the USA from Germany. I won't throw 3 buck for nothing away. I would only send it, if I'm 100 % sure it reaches ok. I've had cuttings that didn't do it after a direct over-sea flight. Thats enough for me to be exceptic about expose a healthy cutting to s postal over-sea flight.
He/She will for sure find someone in the USA that has a cutting over...
If you have so much experience sending cutting far away, why don't you send him one for free?

I know what you?re talking about.
I sent cuttings from Austria to USA, Germany, Hong Kong and Portugal, and the only one to survive was to MAIA in Portugal.

All different experiences! Nice!
About sending a cutting for free, who ever told you that I asked any money for them/it?????? I think you must be mixing persons! I have no commercial interrests.
I also sent some cutting to the usa with no problems! They survived and are still growing! But I believe you to when you say that it did not succeed.
Maybe it is also a way of packing the green?

I didn't want to emphasize the word "free". It was actually completely clear for me that you would do it for no money (like I would).
I don't know how much experience you have trading or giving something for free, but after a while it becomes costly. One person costs 3 USD, but suddenly 10 persons or more want also something. If the person would come and get it, I would give even 10 cuttings...
It is probably the packing. Send him/her a cutting and let us know how it worked and describe us how you pack them.
It is for me too riscfull and therefore I will not do it, that was the intention of my first post,

I saw you have salvia growing outside in the Nederlands. Are they planted directly to soil? Do you take them in during the winter?
