Calci-Sand?

I cant seem to find any actual limestone or oyster shells but I did find some Pure Natural Calcium Carbonate Sand. I was wondering if this would effieciently raise the PH Level in my peat moss or if I need something else. Since its a sand and not flour I was wondering how well it would work. I will be mixing it along with vermiculite so what ratio between the three would work best.

I havent read any that use calcium sand alone without limestone or oyster shell
