calci-sand experiment results

the first and second flush are easily twice as potent as all the flushes from seven other substrates from the same spawn.

the experimental substrate was this:

and then 3 parts sand to 2 parts organic potting mix for the casing layer.

the rest were regular coco-coir, and all the spawn was b+ on RGS

you can find calci-sand in the reptile bedding area at the pet store, and add it to your substrates. and i bet its way less likely for your sub to get contams with calci-sand instead of coffee
