It is a simple inexpensive IMPELLER driven device that picks up water from the container the small quite electric motor sits in, then by use of centrifugal force & very small fan type vanes inside it, mixes very fine droplets of internal water into a flow of air - from an intake on top it, which exhausts out of an outlet.

The result is a flow of moisture laden fresh air. Which is IDEAL for bulk substrate tray fruiting chamber, as it creates a high RH & provides fresh air exchange. Which is a key factor in optimal bulk fruit cultivation.

There are numerous brand names for the device.

Always REMEMBER? it is IMPELLER DRIVEN.

Not evaporative, ultrasonic, nor creates steam, as a "WarmMist" type does.
