Can you crush yopo seeds and put into ayahuasca brew as another source for dmt. i know they are for snuff or would it be better to drink ayahuasca then do the snuff when you hit a peak?

there are other alkaloids in there that make it dangerous ie bufotine.

It's extremely unpleasant. In large amounts, I'm sure it wouldn't be too safe.

Yopo would be a total waste of time for a brew. You can snort it, you can smoke it... and most people find even that a waste of time. If you'd like to read 2 successful smoking attempts, check my erowid reports.

It worked, but I'm in no hurry to do it again... though I probably will, as I have too many seeds.

Ott talks about bufotenine and maoi in pharmacology of bufotenine (journal of psychoactive drugs sept91). seems to me that bufotenine in ayahuasca can be a intresting combo but i read it in a hurry. ayahuasca.com forum may have more info.

it might be, but certainly not taken oraly.
oral dosing of yopo leads to severe stomech pains and vometing etc.

i think the bit u read might have been about snorting after ingesting MAOi or something like that.

I snorted a little bit of it and had effects. I have an extremly low threshold for drugs though. It reminded me of hitting salvia divinorum slightly, or some cannabis sativa. Very uplifting and energetic with the shock of the basic snuff going up your nose.

Of course the latter part of a yopo experience is euphoric, but I'm sure most people wouldn't put yopo and pleasant in the same sentence
