for your double-marthas

i have what is basically a double martha in an L shape.its drop plastic wrapped around two plastic, 5 tier shelving units. shelves are 1 1/2ft x 3-3 1/2 ft.

in my set-up however, the corner of the L is empty. it is an empty column where all shelves meet. i have 3 coolmist impellers going in at different points in the upper portion of column. they all point directly down the column. there are two polyfil stuffed holes in front of each shelf area. they are equally spaced from the sides, shelf above and below, and eachother. they are also each in front of the area where the dishpans i use will sit. there is no difference in temperature or airflow among any of the shelves. all maintain a consistent 90% humidity without the use of an ultrasonic.

i think that the column and evenly distributed exhaust areas are essential to this even flow, pressure, enviornment, unless you want to do extra tubing that accounts for the different shelf levels. everything builds in the column and expels through the exhausts, all things being evened out as much as possible, it gives me a consistent pressure/resistance, airflow, and climate.

so for people thinking about double marthas, just buy shelves and put them all into one chamber. pipe into one chamber, in a space between the shelves, and distribute exhaust points through entire front surface of both shelf areas. you should get an even and consistent flow/climate.
