just go to the pluming supply section of Lowe's and look around at the tubing and PVC use some common sense and get whatever will work best with the humidifiers that you are going to use. plan on comming up with new ideas all the time and and making multiple trips to the hardware stores in your area.. just remember work with what you have and believe in yourself and you will succeed in this hobby

When your going to add the insertion into the Martha, make sure to use some thick tape on both sides of the plastic mesh to reinforce it. Then place the piece over the tape and trace around it with a marker to get a perfect outline. After that, preferably with a sharp exacto blade, cut out inside the marked line so that when you fit your piece into the hole it is nice and tight. You can then add some tape the insertion piece from the inside so it cant be pushed back out, or maybe a thick rubberband.
As for the humidifier, I have found that if you buy a pcv piece with one end having the screw like material, you can cut a hole into your humidifier and then put the insertion piece into it like a screw to get an air tight fit with no messy sealant necessary. You can see the piece here. See how it is screwed in? It is easy to find a hose with the perfect thickness to fit the other end of the PVC insertion in the humidifier.
Good Luck

Thanks for the pics HC, I was bummed when going through your old posts and seeing "This picture has been removed by it's poster" (or something along those lines). That's a damn clean job.

It puts out a much denser fog that would easily bring your martha to 100% rH if left on for too long. It doesn't create as much air flow as the Cool Mist, so it's used along side the Cool Mist on a timer so raise the rH. The cool mist is necessary for FAE, and the Ultra Sonic is necessary if your cool mist can't get the rH high enough.

in that case, you don't need an ultrasonic. Hey, that's just one less thing to buy, eh?

I have cakes that I had done for fun besides the casing that failed. Good thing I made them cuz I'll be needing them! I'm setting up a FC right now actually. It's almost done too, I'm just waiting on my Cool Mist (I won't need a US because the CM will be plenty). It's a 52 Gal Rubber maid with 27 blue LEDs soming through the top . It might be overkill, but it looks fuckin sweet, and you can use the lid to blind your friends. I also made 2 plexiglass viewing windows with flaps to cover them. I'll post pics when It's completely done with maybe some casings inside, don't want to spoil the surprise for now! Thanks for asking.

Put the Ultrasonic on a timer. If you want a 24hr FAE use a coolmist in conjunction of a ultrahumidifier(ON A TIMER) 30 min every 2 hrs max IMHO!
PEACE.
