The Clinton recession.
    #521828 - 01/16/02 01:30 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

Well, it took Bill Clinton 8 years but he finally managed to mess up the economy Reagan and Bush made strong. Manufacturing has been in a recession for about 2.5 years now and the rest of the economy (according to the Conference Board), was officially in reccession by March 2001. Now that a conservative is back in charge the Clinton recession is finally showing signs of ending.

So don't be decieved by Tom Daschle and those other liars that make the recession out to be George's fault. It happened on Clinton terms and had somthig to do with oppressive tax rates...

So who are you campaigning for the 2004 election. I have to say Lyndon Larouche for democrats, it is going to be a hard battle for anyone who thinks they can outmaneuver this democratic conservative.

I have read many of his books, and been following his campaign from Larouchpub.com . I usually am a green supporter but I think I am ending my support there due to the power shematics of organized crime. The only way to stop the corruption is to increase the war on drugs. To end all drug trade. It is possible, the only reason that the bush family half heartedly threw support at it, is because they profited from it. They only organized the drug trade. And now it is out of control. Have you read any of lyndon's books. A theory on legalization is that to put it into effect you need to end the black market. His works definitely changed my philiosphies on green party memebrs, the american public is'nt ready for an independent political party running the country, but they are ready for this. Lyndon could play on every most citizens hate for organized drug trade. which is about 4 fifts of the country, and also play the intelligent aspects of organized drug trade, such as people who frequent here, who organized drug trade without money laundering, and without imported drugs. I will never vote for a republican though, expecially a dumb one, i don't want a president who needs advice, but one who gives advice. Do you see my point, if not then I want to hear your campaigning for 2004. Is it another bush campaign, for wars against every terrorist country except the nuclear power of china?

You seem to insult me at every moment you can. But still do not post anything near awnsering my question. You are so much like the republicans themselves, you stutter for about 10 minutes, avoid the issue for a couple weeks, and then start a war. After all that you totally forget about the debate. Do you have any opinions of your own that you would like to share besides how stupid i am. Maybe i can learn what you know, i am still very young.

A democratic conservative, eh... Needless to say I'm a bit skeptical about his prospects. I am sure aware of what getting involved in leadership and nationwide campaigns can do to a politician.

Lets take a look at another so called conservative democrat, Al Gore. When Al the Whore was a congressman and then senator from Tennessee he was anti-abortion, pro-gun (NRA rated A) and in general a conservative like many Tennessee democrats.
Look what he turned into when he decided that he wanted to be president! Fortunately many of us here did not appreciate the 180 degree change in all of his positions. If he had supported the same crap when he was running for office in Tennessee that he did in the last election he never would have been in public office. In Tennessee liars, traitors and socialist are only popular in Memphis and central Nashville.

I'de wager that when Lyndon Larouche comes to the dems national platform he'll revert to his true parties agenda just like Al Whore did...

So what do you think a good platform is?
Mine would be economic reform.
Social Security Reform
What was that one concept called? ( about revising donating methods of business ) yeah that, reform
anti abortion
pro gun
increasing the war on drugs
increasing military funding on the star wars project
I think that is it. Did i forget anything?

i don't have much doubt in a george w. bush
re-election. no doubt. look at his approval
ratings right now and how hopeful people
are despite all the grim economics. i'm not
saying he's a great president- but he's doing
pretty good for himself.

****So who are you campaigning for the 2004 election. *****

i'm not campaining for anyone..however i believe it doesn't matter who you put up against GWB because he will beat any on the Left. However in a dream world i'd like to see Harry Browne. It could not be denied that he would run his presidency as the Constitution intended it to be...

****You seem to insult me at every moment you can. ****

I believe you have that reversed..you insult yourself

****You are so much like the republicans themselves, you stutter for about 10 minutes, avoid the issue for a couple weeks, and then start a war. ****

and your like the socialists, sputter out pure nonsense and change for the sake of change without taking the future in consideration. For example look at the Klinton terms.

****Maybe i can learn what you know, i am still very young. ****

i think that's an excuse..but for each his own i guess

nugsarenice,

I think an ideal platform would be anti-abortion, pro-gun, fair trade not free trade, no social security reform, no gays in military, end the marriage tax penalty, increase spending to the military and intelligence that Clinton Gutted, cut federal pork barrel spending, start school vouchers for school choice, and an English/scottish style socialized healthcare program for all Americans.

Of couse there's a lot more I'de like. But it'll probably never happen.

my platform on the following topics would be as follows:

Social Security Reform:
I would eliminate social security and let people put their money where they want to. Social security earns about 2% which is under the inflation rate..in other words you're losing money in it. Hell low rick bonds give you 5-10%

anti abortion
I would have to agree with being anti-abortion, however i would not make it illegal. Absolutly no public money would go to fund it

pro gun
I am very pro-gun and would eliminate unnecessary gun laws and enforce those that have been on the books

increasing the war on drugs
I would eliminate the war on drugs, i believe it's a waste of time and unwinable....

increasing military funding on the star wars project
I'm really not sure what percentage is used towards this but i would set aside money for it but i'm not sure if i'd increase it without a definate percentage already given to them...i am pro-anti missle defense

Social groups
EPA's funding would be either cut or limited
welfare i would cut by tapering it off after a specific time
i'm sure there are more i would cut. I've always said that i would get a book of all the social programs that the Fed pay for and with a highliter i would cross of the stupid ones like the mating habit of the butterfly..etc.

Do you know that the drug trade is responsible for 90 percent of all crime. So you would plan to eliminate the war on drugs, without legalization. And legalization cannot be sold to a public where 4 fifths do not even do drugs. The mafia organizations behind the war on drugs need to be eliminated, not let to roam to their own wishings, as such they would cause more trouble then any taliban organized drug trade.

This is the BUS recession. Bush is president.
He is responsible for this recession. He is a coke head devil.
His tax break for the wealthy is going to really throw us into a recession. Just wait.

Alen Greenspan thinks the economic downturn started prior to october 2000. The manufacturing industry has been in recession for 2? years. The recession officially began in march barely after clinton left office. It is the CLINTON RECESSION.

I forgot socialized healthcare, that has always been a huge thing that are government needs, alot of european governments have these and similiar programs for colleges. It is more intelligent and limits the corruption of above. Some colleges make their entry so expensive just so they make sure they are developing the children of the aristrocracy, into roles for the central intelligence and the banking industry.
