I wouldnt call them pins my friend :smile: those are shrooms now :smile: hehe and t here PE,thew thing i love about the pe strain is the stems...they get so fat and bumpy at the top right under the cap its awesome i just love the way they loo kand produce...hopefully i will be able to get a couple prints out of them,thank you all,GL

Ok guys here is todays update,there getting closer to harvest..and about the aborts i asked about,you guys can see them..do you think its ok if i leave them till harvest?the caps arent totally black yet,LOL i think it will be fine but i just want a 2nd opinion,thanks and enjoy the penis pics!

Dont take my word for it cause im on my frist grow also but, pick them, they look ready.  Veils look to be broken already  :crazy2:

Nah i grew PE once  before i wait for the caps to start to open a little more vertical,just a personal preference..plus if iwait until like tonight or tomorrow morning they will get bigger and weigh more :smile: but thank you for your opinion :smile:

as for your poo cakes... shrooms vary in size because of two things. the amount of nutrients available, and the amount of water available. in your case, i suppose poo is rich in nutrients so i dont think that's a problem. so it must be the moisture content of the cake. so prolly after that flush, you'll want to dunk them. then let them grow again and see if the shrooms are bigger.

im actually very interested in this theory so keep me update! :grin:

do the poo cakes look/feel dry?

Yea the poo cakes are a little dry,i didnt dunk cause i didnt know if i should...and when i do dunk...how long do i dunk the poo cakes for?cause the po cakes are v ery soft,unlike the brf...maby 4 hour dunk?but the poo cake shrooms still got some ways to grow it looks like to me :smile:

Guys i was thinking..is it time to pick them? or could they be picked tonight? or tomorrow morning with the aborts on there iam kinda worried about rot...but you think i can weait until tomorrow to pick them?tomorrow at 11 in the morning

in the poo cake do you have lots of verm or something else to help hold water? also after teh first flush id say dunk and rool that poo cake. as for time im not sure i havn't read dunk times on poo cakes but i would guess mayle a little less time to keep the sucker held together. id be afraid of it getting too wet and falling apart. maybe just dunk it for 6 hours then poke it to see how soft/ hard it is then add more hours from the poke test.

im not sure how long to dunk poo cakes. maybe 12-24hrs like brf cakes. i dunno. the main idea is to get water to saturate all the way through to the center of the cake. (very hard to do because mycelium is so damn tough) you should let them grow for a few more days because the veil hasnt torn yet. it seems u are really anxious to tend to these mofuckas sooooo....

u can pick off every lil thing and have a handful of small things to munch on. that will give u a mild trip (very pleasant though, especially if u smoke) and then dunk the cakes for atleast 12hours
return them to FC and wait like 2more weeks for another flush, hopefully a bigger one.


if u do eat a handful of small shrooms... just remember your tolerance will build up very rapidly and wont be back down for another week.

i for one, love to trip mildly because the world is simple a better place when mildly tripping. i wish i could be mildly tripping for the rest of my life.

oh... yea that cake is ready for harvesting. u could wait another day or two for them to get bigger, but that'll consume more nutrients in the cake, and will take longer  :boring:

personally, i'd wait till tomm morning. the ones on top could use a little more time. but i wouldnt wait any longer than 2 days, or they will mature. good luck printing the PE, the shape makes it kinda hard to print. search for posts on this. i read something like cut the cap in half and print half the cap.

those are very close to harvest...  :rockon:
