MMI students?

#5191633 - 01/17/06 05:50 PM (20 years, 9 months ago)

if any of you are attending, have attended, want to attend, etc Marine mechanical institute in Orlando Fl please respond. OR even if youre a boat/jetski mechanic in general id love to talk to you. Im absolutely obsessed with standup jetskis (i love riding mine just as much as i love tripping, they both keep kids like me sane). Basically what im wondering is if this is a business of high employment right now, and im also wondering if ill be able to get a decent paying job after i graduate from MMI.

Preferably id like to work in Cali of course. But also i was wondering how the hell do pros become pros on jetskis. Im got skills but im nothing near a pro right now, its safe to say my hopes just may be too high. However maybe with some proper training it could just be possible. Anyone ever hear of any jetski training camps and how to get onto race teams as either a mechanic or a rider?
