stupid caps never want to open

afoaf's caps never want to open! could this be caused by too high humidity during the cropping period? Air exchange is great forsure, but the humidity is always at 93% ..

More info needed.

Cakes? Casings? Temperature? Strain or Species? Time Period between pinning to what you consider the time it should tear the veil?

casings ... PESA agar to grain cased with coco coir, EQ agar to grain cased with coco coir, temp 20-23 Celcius, approx 10 days for veil to tear ... it separates from the cap sticks to the stem and then never opens .. pretty odd

i think the EQs have a preveil, if I remember snobrdr311 had some pics of his casing and you could see this viel that was well below the caps, and the caps hadnt started to open yet....

Damb I wish I had that problem, Iv'e got a bunch of Puerto's that open up way premature and sporulate all over the place.

If you figure out exactly what is holding them back please let us know so I can try implement those conditions and actually get some decent fruits.
