I saw that too.. I wonder which gene/s got mutated to make that happen. We need to map the Cubensis genome and run some microarrays.. That would be a fun thesis.. Of course, if we had a map of the genome we could do some much more interesting things.. Mmm.. Increased tryptamine synthesis..

It sure would.. Especially considering that one would have to wait until the entire genome got sequenced.. Sequencing takes a long long time and requires some hefty computing power. Nobody is going to waste valuable time on a huge computer sequencing something like that. Let's hope there's a breakthrough in bioinformatics in the next few years that'll help speed up sequencing. Then we'll start to see some really interesting things happening.
