can i case without vermiculite???

i cant find vermiculite so im going to make rye cakes and i want to know if i can case them with out vermiculite

Try the cultivation forum. But yes, you can. Try Jiffy Mix or coco coir.

jiffy mix is part vermiculite and i cant find coco coir and i cant fid jiffy mix

you can use some dirt i would suppose.
any thing that can be streilised, and is a non nutriative. so i suopose you could use marbles or crushed beer bottles...
and yeah, you should check out the cultivation forum

sterilized potting soil has been used. Coco Coir is a pet shop staple. Verm can be had from shipping places as a packing material.
This should all be in the cultivation forum tho mang. Welcome.

i would thikn that sand would be to fine, and not allow myc growth.... and yeah zippoz crushed bottle tek is comming

I have never heard of using sand... I think that would not work.. due to sand not absorbing water.. and how it tends to clump together when wet. Sand would not make a good casing layer.. it would probably suffocate it.
Coco coir you can find at any pet shop. Look in the Reptile section.. it's used for reptile bedding.
