whos heard them, or heard of them? most mike patton fans out there probably know who i'm talking about, cuz melt banana has toured with fantomas before.

if you're into japanese avant garde pyscadelic noise/punk...check them out..

I think I seen them tour with Guyana Punch Line <-- is the best band name ever.

Good stuff when I was going to underground hXc shows. It isnt that great recorded, its all about live energy with that music. Pure primitive release, and if you have a good crowd the pit isnt about violence, its about unity and having fun.

some of it is just noise, but it's interesting noise. they have some songs with actual music too though.

I really like 'em.

They're noisy, yes, but they are closer to hardcore punk than noise music.

Noise music is like, Hijokaiden (sp?) or the Nihilist Spasm Band.

Melt Banana actually have some structure, even though it's hyper and ridiculous.

They do the opener and closer for the show perfect hair forever on adult swim. They have their moments Id say, for straight noise, I really enjoy the band Harry Pussy, or just random no-wave songs I have on my computer.
